Sunday - Stuck in Arusha waiting for a flight to Zanzibar

"The Good Book" states that no one is to upset to leave Arusha, which to be fair is true.
The town has a strange feel to it, the buildings have a 1930's Art Deco air about them and they look like little maintenance has been done since. The people on the whole are helpful and charming. But within seconds of entering town you do get mobbed by safari touts . . . a polite but firm NO THANKS sees off all but the most determined.
Emma did not tell me she was getting married?

Deet 100% and mosie nets essential to ward of the blood sucking flying nasties.

No, big corporations flogging burgers are thankfully absent here, but McMoody's is not doing a bad imitation!
Spices & Herbs Ethiopian, great restaurant with live music and a real African feel about it. The hotel is reasonable at $35 a night (twin) but check the room out first as the do vary!
